Rays will be back for 2010. I would like to add 2 teams for next year. We contracted 4 in 09, I would like to get the league more active and adding to it might help.

Dodgers will be back in 2010 and look forward to LOTS of trading. All prospects must go.

"The Champ is here!" and planning to return.
What are your ideas on filling the rosters of the new teams? Just FA, expansion draft? And if it's expantion draft, who can be drafted? (I already don't like the sound of that.)

In
NOT greatly in favor of expansion unless we have all existing teams as hardcore active (and based on log-ins, does not seem to be the case).
That said, I'm not sure I wish to give up 4 players in an expansion quest, either.

In for 2010.
I don't really have 4 players I want to get rid of, but whatever the Commish wants to do is fine by me.

Seems to me that we've just shaken down to a workable number with 16 teams. Perhaps we should give it another season before thinking about expansion.

I agree. Maybe we really just focus on getting 16 active members for the upcoming season. And the following year would probably be the best year for it, IF expansion is really something we want to do. There should be more FA then as many of the original contracts from the start of the league were 3 year deals and will be expiring. I don't really think I like the consequences of expansion, but that would seem like a better time for it.

Marlins are in for next year.
Definitely thinking that expansion is not a good idea this year. We need to get the 16 teams that we have more active before we start to add more into the mix.

Padres will be back ... under the same mis-management I hope.
