3B - Pedro Alvarez $0.4 3B, Grade A: Bat looks excellent. Even if he moves to first base, his bat will be good enough for him to be an All-Star. Upside: David Ortiz.
P - Jhoulys Chacin $0.4 RHP, Grade B+: Projects as a very good ground ball-getting inning-eater. Those are valuable commodities.
P - Jacob Turner $0.4 Grade B+: Outstanding high school pitcher, but I want to see some pro numbers before giving him a higher grade. Even a B+ is aggressive in my grading scheme, but I like him a lot. Like Crosby, he has A-/A potential if all goes well.
OF - Austin Jackson $0.4 OF, Grade B: I like him more than the numbers say I should.
P - Alex White $0.4 RHP, Grade B: Need to see how pro adaptation goes, but like Hagadone he has B+/A- potential a year from now.
P - Phillipe Aumont $0.4 RHP, Grade B-: High upside arm but I worry about his durability and mechanics.
P - Matt Hobgood $0.4 RHP, Grade B-: Liked him a lot in high school, need more pro data before going higher.
P - Mark Melancon $0.4 RHP, Grade B-: Borderline C+. Relief prospects are hard to grade, especially if they aren't going to get a chance to close, but I really like Melancon. Great stats in the minors, with very good stuff.
P - Daniel McCutchen $0.4 RHP, Grade C+: Old for a rookie at age 27, but has nothing left to prove in the minors and knows how to pitch. Another guy with a great K/BB ratio.
P - Andrew Brackman $0.4 RHP, Grade C: He's horrible as a starter, but has a chance to develop in the bullpen.
1B - Juan Miranda $0.4
OF - Cutter Dykstra $0.4
P - Jonathan Albaladejo $0.4
P - Dellin Betances $0.4
P - Jairo Heredia $0.4
P - Alan Horne $0.4
P - Jeff Marquez $0.4
P - Eduardo Morlan $0.4
P - Humberto Sanchez $0.4
P - Daniel Cortes $0.4
